Who we are

TOCLOCO LTD, registered in England & Wales, company number 09950859, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, is the data controller for information collected through PitchCheck. Contact us at hello@pitchcheck.co.uk.

What we collect

From the upload form: your name, your email address and, if you give it, your company name.

Your deck: the PDF you upload, and anything in it. Decks often include personal information about the team, such as names, photographs and career histories.

What we produce: your reports, their scores, and the account that lets you read them, including a record of when you sign in.

Payments: for the Full report, Stripe tells us that you have paid, the amount, and your email address. We never see your card number.

Analytics, only if you allow it: statistics about how the site is used, described below.

Who processes it for us

ProviderWhat they doWhere
Amazon Web ServicesHosts the site, stores your deck, reports and account, reads text from images in your deck (Amazon Textract), and sends our emails (Amazon SES)London
AnthropicRuns the AI models that read your deck and write your report. Anthropic does not train its models on this content.United States
StripeTakes payment for the Full report, on its own checkout pageUnited States and Ireland
GoogleGoogle Analytics, only if you allow itUnited States

For the Full report, our review engine may also search the public web for information about your company and market, so search queries can include your company name and what it does.

Where information goes to the United States, the transfer relies on the safeguards UK law provides, such as the providers’ data processing terms incorporating approved contractual clauses.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share your deck or report with investors or anyone else. How reports are made explains what happens to your deck in more detail.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement, and only with your permission. Until you choose “Accept all”, the Google script is never requested, no connection to Google is made, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Where you do allow it, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, and details of your device and browser. It writes the cookies listed in the cookie policy.

You can withdraw permission at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Doing so stops collection and deletes the analytics cookies from your browser.

How long we keep it

The copy of your deck received by the upload form is deleted automatically after 30 days. The copy kept with your report stays in your account, so you can download it, until you ask us to delete it.

Your account, reports and decks are kept until you ask us to delete them. Records of payments are kept for six years, because tax law requires it. Anonymous scores in the comparison pool are kept, since they can no longer be linked to you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it. You can also ask for your deck and reports in a portable form. Email hello@pitchcheck.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect.
